Travel

Leipzig is well served by airline routes and a good rail network. Another option which may be useful for some people is Berlin Tegel + DB Train, on a weekend there is a Shoneswochenden Ticket for €40 for up to five people travelling as a group which can be used on all trains except the Fast Express services.

Hotels

There are many hotels within easy walking distance of Augustusplatz in Leipzig. The Radisson Blu and Motel One are on the edge of the square and the Marriott is one block further away.

Agenda

The agenda is currently being worked on and more details will follow soon. The event will have two parallel sessions running throughout most of the five days. On the Wednesday one of the parallel tracks will be purely in German in order to attract more members from the local user-groups. There will be evening entertainment on some of the evenings, more details will follow with the draft agenda.
